    for Chase Jones a 2006 Ragsdale graduate who is at UNC Medical Center with a brain tumor.

    Chase was the student class president last year and played utility infield on the 3A West Champs and backup QB on the football team. Chase is a student at UNC and apparently after complaining of migraines they found a tumor on his brain. He had surgery today but only exploratory and to relieve some of the pressure.

    Chase is a great kid and is part of a great family. His dad, Buddy Jones is the baseball coach at Jamestown Middle School. I'm sure Chase and his family will take all the prayers they can get.

    and another one

    for the family of Andrew Lewis, sophomore at Asheville High School in Asheville, NC who collapsed on the field last night during a wood bat game and passed away. Preliminary info seems to point to some type of heart related illness.

    Our prayers go out to both families.....
