Tarboro Home Run Derby

    The home run derby was exciting this year with about 14 kids from the various high schools gunning for the trophy. In the end- it was a good ole Cougar-Viking Showdown. Senior DJ Edmondson From Southwest Edgecombe out-lasted Senior Kyle Norville (Tarboro) 5-4 to claim the Derby. Congratulations to DJ on the win. Getting to the finals these two hit some impressive shots.

    Below is the opening day of the Tournament.


    Tarboro Easter Classic---Day 1--April 15


    11:00 a.m. - Timber Creek N.J. vs. Lawrence Academy

    1:30 p.m. - Jefferson Forest Va vs. West Stokes

    4 :00 p.m. - Winslow Township N.J. vs. SouthWest Edgecombe

    7:00 p.m. - St. Maria Goretti Md vs. Tarboro
