    Erik Lovett from Louisburg signed with NCSU. :applause:

    NCSU has a banner class going so far including Justin Upton. Course, the tough part will be getting him to overcome those millions he wil get as the #1 draft pick (more than likely). :rofl:

    RHP Brian Welborn has committed to play baseball at Limestone College. Welborn led the 2004 pitching staff with five saves, 64 strikeouts and a .228 opponents batting average, while posting a 2-1 record as the Bears closer.

    Brian graduated from Asheville.

    That "one" pitcher mentioned up top on this thread did not pitch any this fall. Not rushing the injury at all. If not ready to go by January, then some decisions will have to be made. I know he is planning on attending NC State next fall as a student only. Hopefully things will work out this spring for him though. :huh:

    Joey Timmerman, RHP at Spartenburg Methodist (Stratford HS in Goose Creek SC) has committed to play for Belmont Abbey next season. Timmerman went 5-0 at SMC last year with 40 K's in 32 innings of work. He'll do a good job for the Crusaders !!!! :applause: :applause:
