Righty Lefty???

    matchups between pitchers and hitters at the HIGH SCHOOL level only? Interesting opinion of my own wait and see.....

    over rated in high school
    best pitcher in the toughest situation

    most high schools don't have enough quality depth on their pitching staffs to worry about these type matchups.

    Righty/Lefty matchups are of no conswequence to me at the HS level, just as has been already been said. The overall quality of hitters and pitchers does not allow for these matchups... When the game is on the line I want the best pitcher available regardless of who the batter is, lefty of righty. That's what you have to do in HS baseball, you can't manage like the pros.

    Unless u do in fact have the depth of pitching wilth quality arms to get people out and are gamers just another advantage at this level that 99.9 % of HS coaches do not have this luxury... Stll as catamount said look at the stats Naturally R vs R and L vs L. On the other hand as a pretty decent hitter from the right side myself I would droooooooooooool at facing a soft throwing lefty vs a hard thrower cause if they were "good" really good UNTOUCHABLE! :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana:
