I set my own hours and work from home, but I'm on call 24/7/365 .... Since I have a lot of compile/test past cycle time to waste (I develop software), I can do some research.

What tiny pearls of wisdom I may have gleened in the area of sandbagging, I garnered from you, O learned Braves (He's related to the "Great and Glorious OZ too) .... there is no deflecting from it's majestic course the awesome powerhouse that you have so cunningly assembled at South Mecklenburg. We all kneel in the presence of a true master and are humbled.

    THANK YOU NCBBallFan!!!!

Thank you NCBBallFan for the great information you have provided for my question about PG and any showcase for that matter! WOW did you put it into perspective for me and other parents like myself who spend alot of money and time trying to help there son or daughter live a dream!! I have already printed off your answers and comments for my son and we sat down this weekend and read the information you provided. Sometimes when a young man can read these things from someone in the baseball world instead of "Dad" constantly repeating himself it gets through a little quicker and makes more of a impression. We had some great discussion from your information! THANK YOU! :xyzthumbs
DodgerBlues thank you also for your opinion from a parents perspective.
From this parents perspective the next two years and highschool seasons I hope will be fun for my son and myself. Like many parents here I am trying to help my son live a dream. With that said I would like to say thank you to ALL that provide information here for parents like myself!! :applause:
As I read from the link above that Braves provided that someone has all ready said before..."Pops you make following and reading about Highschool baseball fun!!" I hope I can keep the same perspective for my son the next two years. This should be the best time of his life and have fun!!!
Thanks to all....I love THIS BOARD ROCKS!!!!!!!!!! :applause: :xyzthumbs
May everyone have a safe and blessed Christmas hoilday season.
    BRING ON BASEBALL SEASON!!!! :xyzthumbs

Thanks for your kind words ..... BUT .... to put it in perspective, I'm a Dad also. When I need my son to learn something, I have him talk to Braves. There is an old saying in business, "The expert is always the guy from out of town". That's particularly true when dealing with your own son.

I didn't want anyone to have any illusions that I have a deep connections or professional insight. I've just been well taught by the Dads (and Moms) that came before me and want to pass that knowledge on to the next batch of dads/moms for their kids.
