    ...tie score...men on 1st and 3rd NO outs and 7, 8, 9 hitters are up! THEY can't hit nor BUNT period, and your pinch hitters (how few they are) couldn't hit a HUGE bull in the butt with a bass fiddle! What in God's name are you gonna do? :) :huh: :scared2: :thinking:

    run remember!? Who is the pitcher for you then to do that rare feat! Especially at the HS level! Seen it maybe once or twice in my career! I remember just a few years back a kid by the name of "Clay" doing that against the Eagles... :rofl:

    run a play called "skunk in the outfield", prepare for a 45 minute arguement, and head the team for the dressing room.... :laugh1: :thinking: :banana:

    Thanks a bunch!! I'd bet we could really start something up with such topics!! LOts of unethical plays out there that coaches condone.

    hey Coach Evans...

    one must know the rule book and understand how to exploit it...

    to run the "skunk" it may be to your advantage to have a book in your back pocket...not that hs umps don't know all the rules... :laugh1: :laugh1:
