TBR baseball etiquette

    On occaison I've noticed some profanity headlining topics on other segments of TBR, and I just want to say that i enjoy not seeing it infiltrate the baseball portion of this message board.

    Since we are pretty much squeaky clean in that regard and seem to have an influx of new posters, I think its time to go over the unwritten code of TBR baseball.

    1) Thou shall not speak highly of your own team. Sandbagging has a long and glorious history on this site and you will do well to learn from it. It matters not if your squad has 10 major DI signees, you are still in a tough conference and you just hope you can slide into the playoffs with some luck ,of course. You will find that many of the posters from Charlotte are Yoda-like in their grasp of sandbagging.

    2) When in doubt, always refer back to #1.

    Just want to let ya'll know that we enjoy seeing no dern' tootin' profanity over here in the preps section of the baseball board. Braves has done a fine job building this thing up, and us folks from "other" parts of the board will try our best not to ugly it up. Unless Shrapnel heads back to the softball board, which he probably won't do. Good job, folks. :xyzthumbs

    yes we do and there are places in other sections of TBR for all those who prefer profanity-laden post.

    Karl is welcomed to softball cause i have got to clear up "crow-hopping" with him once and for all!! :laugh1:
