    Braves,

Hang tough. Stay strong. Continue being the example for HS kids. Your body of work is a great message for kids today--go hard to achieve your goals, strive for excellence.

    You have done that here.

God carries us when we can not carry ourselves. Here's hoping He's walking alongside you and not doing too much lifting.

    All the best,
    Solarte

Braves- you are one of those pillars of the board that really makes this place worthwhile in the big scheme of things. Best of luck and my prayers are with you and your family.

    Braves contributions

Braves: The series of blind curves that life sometimes challenges us with will be navigated by our instincts of faith. Just know that your ideas and faith in what this board should be, have helped many parents and players navigate the hazardous journey from teenage boys to good young men. Thanks for all your help and remember you are not alone!!!

    Hey Braves,
I read this thread with great sadness, but total understanding of your situation and wanted to stop by to express how much you will be missed by so many of us here. To me, you will always be the epitome of a gentleman - and someone who stands firm in their beliefs, and lends a guiding hand when needed. I know little about what happends on the sports forum here, but it's clear that you have touched so many people by your caring, considered approach to things - and for that, I thank you. Please know that you and your family will be in my prayers and I sincerely hope that you get through this trying time. I hope your break from TBR will be a short one and that you keep in touch. If there is anything I can do, please just flick me a line.

kia kaha ai koe, kia toa ai koe...
    kia whai mana ai koe.

'Go to the heavens ... to Taawhirimatea ...
so that you will be strong, so that you will be
brave, ... so that you will have mana'.

Braves-If you take your positive attitude (displayed on this board) into battle, the family health issues don't stand a chance. Thanks for being such a good guy over the years !

Hang in there Braves. TBR will always be here (where else is DaveW going to go) for you. Take care of stuff on the home front and know that you always have a place waiting on you. Stay well and give your family a hug from us.

    Stay Strong and well wishes

    Braves,

You and I have talked about what you're going through, and you know I understand, at least to some degree. My heart breaks from what you and your family have endured, and are still enduring.

May God bless you abundantly with His strength, His peace, and His comfort. That has been, and continues to be, my prayer for you and your family.

It's times like these I wish I wasn't so far away. Still, if there is anything I can do for you, name it.

    ~Eric

We all mean it, Braves. In the short amount of time we have been acquaintenances, I have benefitted from your knowlege and experiences from a different perspective that I have been exposed to. I also know on a personal level the kind of faith needed to get through a tough time where at times there may not be an answer. God will answer in his own time, according to his own will. Just remember Phil 4:13 - "I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me." I look forwad to the day down the road when we can meet face to face, the honor will be all mine.

    Steve
