New principal for Independence

Article in today's paper announcing Nancy Bartles as the new principal. Isn't she Brett Bartles mom? If so, I would think we have a baseball supporter at Independence.

 

Neckball ... I believe you are right .... (as if the program at Indy needed the support). Indy is in great hands with their current coach right now. Throw in a pro-baseball principle and I'm glad they are moving back to the SW4A (or whatever it's name is going to be).

 

Based on what I have heard about Ms Bartles (yes, Brett is her son), It will be a plus for our school both for athletics and academics. I am looking forward to the season.

 

My son had her at Kannapolis Middle and 4 years at AL Brown,

She is Best of the Best .....With her , you get academics first and she will support your sports forever....

Does Indy have thugery dress codes? Gang type atmosphere ?

Every time you think she has done the best job , she out does herself with new achievements..

Last year I was at Elon for Impact's showcase. I was standing next to a mother who was excited about watching her son participate. We started talking about all kinds of things, typical parent discussions, and I told her I knew of her son from reading TBR. She wrote down the website and said she was excited to read about her son. I walked away with the impression, "what a nice lady" and typical of the mothers I have met at ballgames. Her name?....Nancy Bartles
