    Easy drive from Charlotte.

From East/SE Charlotte and Harrisburg area-

    485 to I85 N Follow 85N thru Salisbury to 52N. Follow 52N toward Winston-Salem then take I40 W.

Follow I40 W to HWY 421 . Follow 421 about 8 miles and cross over Yadkin River bridge. just past the bridge you will see the sign for Forbush, exit to the right and follow the signs to Forbush HS.

From 485 and 85N, estimated travel time should be no more than 1 1/2 hours.

    From North Charlotte

Take I77 N to I40 E in Statesville. Follow I40 to exit 184 (Lewisville-Clemmons), turn left at top of exit. Follow Lewisville-Clemmons Rd. past West Forsyth HS and then take Hwy 421 N (the ramp has changed with the new bridge construction, so be sure to exit to the right and loop back under bridge to access 421.) Follow 421 to the Forbush exit just past the Yadkin River bridge.

From I77 and Sunset Rd., estimated travel time 1 hour 15 minutes.

    Good Luck!!!

Too bad Central and West Forsyth aren't scrimmaging each other. Good bet they will see each other in Raleigh, though. also, N. davidson should have been invited to participate as well. From what I hear, you could have 2 of the top 3 4A teams in the state in the same conference with West Forsyth and n. davidson. But I bet our teams from charlotte area would beg to differ. :nono:

This should be another exciting season for all.

    Homer 3,

    N. Davidson was invited and they declined, also the matchup between West and Central was set up but one of the teams decided that wouldn't be best for them so the schedule was revised.

North Davidson had other obligations to a scrimmage in South Carolina. They have been going there for the past 7 years to play. They play against some of the best teams in that area as well as the state. The forbush scrimmage is a dandy though. Lots of heavyweights.

Why would teams that most likely will meet in the playoffs ,want to scrimmage each other. The only postive it would be good for the fans.Scrimmages are for looking at new players and giving a coach a chance to see what his team can do. What good would a 0-0 no hitter on both sides determine . Save those games for the playoffs. Just a view!
