    What I've Heard

    They should announce at any time, probably Dave Elder (formally of Hickory High - State Champs '96). I heard his name was in the hat. But I also heard they may be going in-house.... we'll see!

    Elder's name gets mentioned for every football and women's basketball opening, but who knows.

    I know for a fact that he applied. A guy from Statesville, a guy from Bandys and a guy from Foard applied as well.

    I hope they talked to coach stilwell from foard. be a good one for that program. lots of dedication.

    I heard Stillwell is a very dedicated, knowledgable coach. The type of guy who would mortgage is house and divorce his wife to win.
