    Winthrop University hosts the Coca-Cola Classic starting today.

    Today, Winthrop faces off against Wake Forest.

    The other teams in the event are Maryland and Western Kentucky.

    Winthrop defended their Top-25 ranking with a convincing 8-0 win against Wake Forest. The Deacons committed 4 early errors and never seemed to get on track.

    Charlotte Christian's own Chris Carerra is playing 2nd and leading off for the Eagles this season.
