Pre-season Poll (and Official Pre-season Poll)

TC Roberson / Baseball America Preseason Poll

Baseball America's preseason poll was released today and TC Roberson is ranked #9. They are also ranked 13th nationally in Collegiate Baseball's preseason poll.

They scrimagged at East Rutherford on Saturday and didn't disappoint the 10-15 pro scouts that were on hand. They scored 18 runs on 21 hits and 5 HR's in 10 innings. East Rutherford is young, but talented and will once again be a contender for the 2A crown. They scored 13 runs and were led by SO Zeke Blanton and JR Blake Bostic, who both homered for the Cavs.

SR Cameron Maybin was 3-5 with 2 HR's and 5 RBI's, JR Josh Thrailkill was 3-5, HR and 4 RBI's and SO Justin Jackon was 3-4 with a HR. SR Wes Williams and SO John Ramsey also hit solo shots for the Rams.

Thrailkill made is return to the mound after season ending knee surgery last year and pitched the first two innings cruising at 88-91.
