i noticed all the char. christian games are missing on the schedule for this week.

3/1 charlotte christian @ weddington has been cancelled for tuesday, no makeup date has been arranged yet

 

I missed Hickory too the first time.....

Geez, I must have made my note in the wrong place trying to keep up with which teams have been merged..

Ok .. I figured out Butler's post too ... It should now be complete.

 

Dang it Pops, they flip flopped the Mooresville/Cherryville sites and I forgot to post the change. We'll be going over there on Tuesday and they'll be comming here next week. Aint no big deal tho, tomorrows game may not happen anyway cause of all the rain. Stay tuned.

 

Piedmont vs Hickory Grove

The two games between Piedmont have been switched. Piedmont will host Hickory Grove on Thursday (3/3) and Hickory Grove will be home 4/21.

Piedmont's game with West Rowan was postponed due to weather on Monday and no date has been reset.

 

stumpman, i know this is on the wrong thread for this so forgive me...

i hear piedmont will be very good this year. noone has talked about them butfrom what i hear, they are suppose to be extremely talented. tell me about their new SS from central cabbarus.

 

12to6, we're trying to keep that a secret around here!!!

Piedmont only lost 3 seniors from last year's team that finished 3rd in their conference. I haven't seen him a whole lot but the kid from CC is a baller from what I have heard. Saw him hit the other day and he looked very good. Pitching might be a little thin this year but should have plenty of hitting and Timmy King is a name that needs to be learned around here. He had two games last year with 15+ K's and is only a Junior this year. I think the other starters will be either Brian Parker and/or the kid from CC (I can't remember his name right off hand).

I think Piedmont stands a good chance of making a lot of noise this year. Shore up that #2 starter spot and barring injuries, I think they will be very good. The other teams in the SPC lost a lot so I think the SPC will come down to JM Robinson and Piedmont.
