    From the Elon web site:
    The Southern Conference today named Elon pitcher Patrick Adams as the Pitcher of the Week for games played between Feb. 28-March 7.

    Adams threw a seven innings of five-hit ball while striking out 10 in a 4-0 shutout of Duke. Adams walked three in the game to collect his first collegiate victory. On the year, he is 1-0 with a 1.02 ERA. He has fanned 21 in 17.2 innings of work and allowed 14 hits and only five walks.

    Patrick has pitched really well his last couple of outings!
