    OVER THE LEFT FIELD FENCE @ TUSCOLA (FASTBALL ON A 3/2 COUNT) ALSO WEATHER PERMITTING ERWIN WILL HOST BREVARD TODAY @ 4:00 (JUST RECEIVED WORD THAT GAME HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER) LETS SEE IF THEY GET THE SMOKEY MTN @ ERWIN ON FRIDAY---NOT LOOKING GOOD RIGHT NOW.

    Hi Hanger 4 and CF BAll..... It was a pretty one.... Long fence.... Looks like 2005 softball is off to a good start. Enka girls are working hard as I am sure of all the teams.     T.C. Roberson 10-0 over North Buncombe. I was told earlier that it could have been 11 but not sure. I know that the score was not in the paper.

    Caroline Taylor hit the ball hard but Kelly Davis kept running them down. She finally got one away from Kelly for a triple. Kelly threw out two runners trying to advance from 2nd to third. The coach was wondering what was up with the centerfielder. Rumor has it that she was moved out there because her arm was too strong for short.... :five: :rofl:

    those two players you mentioned are outstanding players as well as young ladies!

    kelly has one of the strongest arms in WNC and caroline is a rock solid 2B!

    Anybody know who's fields will be a wash tomorrow. I hope Erwin's is (no offense) I have to finish and fix someones job in Sapphire Valley tomorrow :banginghe I don't want to be 1 for 2 this early in the season. :bsflag: I'm growing tired of fixing and finishing other's work.

    Sorry Hanger4, but last word was Erwin will be hosting Smokey Mtn. today @ 4:00--they are going to play on the new field----the girls had field clean up yesterday. Maybe you can make it late. Oh yea great pics on the other thread, you took a nice pic of our daughter pitching (now you know who we are) Great job with all the pics the parents really enjoyed the ones posted.
