    Elon Vs Davidson

    The probable pitching matchups for the weekend are listed below:

    Friday: Matt McSwain (3-0, 1.99 ERA) vs. Andy Carter (2-1, 4.46 ERA)

    Saturday 1: Ryan Basham (3-1, 2.87 ERA) vs. Rob Wilson (2-2, 5.81 ERA)

    Saturday 2: Lance Cole (2-1, 5.91 ERA) vs. Matt Meade (1-1, 6.15 ERA)

    Elon took 2 out of 3 from a very good hitting Davidson team!

    McSwain got the win on Friday 4-3!
    Andy Carter took a no hitter into the 7th for Davidson!

    Rob Wilson took the win for Davidson on Saturday 10-6.
    Basham took the loss for Elon!

    Chris Defago took the win for Elon in the 2nd game of a doubleheader 11-10.
    Elon won it in the bottom of the ninth with a double off the wall by Chris Vasami
    after Drew Davis led off with a walk and Paul Bennett bunted for a single!

    Elon now stands at 16-10 7-5 conf.

    USC lost 2 of 3 @ Florida to drop to 2-4 in the SEC.


    Willard (Green Hope HS) leads the Gamecocks in:
    batting avg (.436)
    hits (34)
    slugging percentage (.705)
    total bases (55)

    Also has 4 HRs and 2 Triples to go along with 5 Doubles.
