    Several of these young ladies have signed up to come to the Blues Showcase, I am looking forward to seeing them in action. Sounds like KM is loaded with great young talent. :trophy:

    A.C. Reynolds 3 - 0 over ERwin

    Dana Burton almost hit the first homerun out of Erwins new ballfield that was dedicated today. Off the top of the fence. I think Amy Huntley banged out 2 or 3 hits. It seems that everytime I looked up she was on base.
    Low scoring affair until the late innings when Reynolds bats finally broke through.

    Salem pitched the complete game shutout for Reynolds

    What a trip for this group of young ladies. The team stayed at the Alll-Star Resort on the Disney grounds and played at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex. What a facility!! Spent many hours at Disney and got to take in a Braves game at their training facility at the Wide World of Sports! Braves killed the Tigers!!

    The Mountaineers played some awesome competition...all teams we played were from Ohio. One team was the 2003 Ohio State Champsof their largest division.

    KM 3 Winning Pitcher Morgan Childers
    Kenston 0

    KM 5 Wining Pitcher Kristyn Funderburke
    Anthony Wayne 4 LaRhona McClain and Jessica Yarbro 2 hits

    KM 15 Wining Pitcher Morgan Childers
    Anthony Wayne 2 Casey Camp and McClain 3 hits Funderburke and
    Courtney Tate 2 hits.

    KM 3 Funderbure 3 1/3 innings Childers(Win) 4 2/3 innings
    Notre Dame Cathredral 2 Camp, Funderburke and Tate 2 hits

    KM has 2 conference games next week away vs Burns and Hickory.

    Great job and a really exciting time for these young ladies. What a way to experience softball at the high school level. Hats off to Coach Grayson for taking these ladies on this trip. I know many other people have to be involved to make it happen but without the coaches ok...not going to happen. :woot:

    West is the real deal.They hit with power from top to bottom.Freshman Brooke Taylor had a 2 run homer for West.Adele Burnsides threw a 2 hitter.Morgan Peeler took the loss for East.Keep your heads up ladies,& be ready for next game.

    Kim Page struck out 17 of 22 batters and was two outs away from a perfect game when a bloooper got into the outfield.
