    Great game!Great defensive plays on both teams,great coaching on both teams,each rolling the dice to get that 1 run in.Both pitchers going the whole way.One of the best games I've seen all year!It's a shame 1team wins & 1 team looses in a game like that.Both teams played their "A" game on defense.Hate to end on a sour note,but a controversial call on 1st robbed East.1st base tagged runner with glove,& ball was in other hand.1st base ump called runner safe,ump behind plate over ruled.Oh Well,get em next time!
    East is now 7-2, 5-1 conf.

    ac reynolds 6 south caldwell o because sc didnt get to bat in the bottom of the 6th inning the score goes back to 5 complete innings.

    Question?

    I was at this softball game and the visiting team was ahead 12 to 0. The game was in the top of the 6th inning (the home team hadn’t batted) when they called the game because of rain. The announcer said the official score was 6-0. Why was this? The score was 12-0. If they revert back to what the score was at the end of 5 complete innings………… then that doesn’t make sense. Take this situation! Home team was ahead at the end of inning 5, 3 to 0. Visiting team scored 6 runs in top of 6th. Does that mean that the home team wins just because they didn’t get to bat in the bottom of the inning, or is the game finished at a later date. I’ve been to many softball games but don’t recall seeing this situation before.

    you should be right comet i was just going by what they said at the end of the game.
