    Tonight at 7pm on ESPN2 catch Game 2 of this top-10 matchup. Miami took advantage of a rough day by Andrew Miller for a 17-7 victory yesterday, and today Daniel Bard (6-2, 2.70) and Brandon Camardese (4-0, 4.64) take the hill. Freshman first baseman Chad Flack continued his hitting streak to 10 games and has 7 straight multi-hit games. Should be a good one, it's a nice day for baseball in Chapel Hill.

    It was ugly. Miami can hit, but UNC pitchers were, for the most part, just not throwing strikes.

    And I hope no one watched long enough to see the ninth, it was rough...although, did anyone see, was that double down the line fair or foul? Couldn't tell from our angle, but Coach Fox sure wasn't happy about it.

    looked foul to me. That kept that big inning alive for sure but I don't think it would have mattered.

    damn - 35 runs in two games. Well win one tomorrow and it won't seem so bad. Flack was pounding the ball again tonight

    Ha, well, the bats weren't really the problem, especially his.

    More the throwing strikes thing (4 walks scored). And the gloves, there were issues with those (8 unearned runs). So really, those nine runs should've been plenty...

    Miami....it was tied 9-9 after 7, I think, then Miami exploded in the 9th. It was either 17 or 18-9

    Miami went up 11-9 on a two-run homer by Braun in the seventh. Then they scored 7 runs (3 earned) in the top of the ninth. So yeah, 18-9. And today was a tie. Due to Miami's travel plans, as the game was in extras. Bad luck for Carolina, since the tie's better for them than us.

    im pretty sure the radar gun was a few mph's slow, it had daniel bard whos usually mid 90's at 89-91, it had the lefty from UM at 78-79, and had woodard at low 80's. did anyone else notice this? form everyone ive talked to they agreed it had to be a couple MPH slow
