    i guess i'll put my two cents in, too
    any coach who allows the game to get
    that far out of control should not be allowed on the field, period

    How about the AD? he should definately not be on the field in the coaches box

    What would you do to stop it? If what some of the people here are saying is true, it sounds like the game wound up the way it did in spite of efforts to keep it from happening. Sometimes when you have a great team playing a horrible team these things happen. So how would you have kept the score from getting so high?

    no the cc coach
    he at any time could have have shut it down
    if he couldnt his players should have. there are many ways to get an out, step on plate, out of baseline, leave early, cmon you telling me that could not or should not have been done?
    what lesson do we teach and what could his team possibly have learned
    by a 55-0 game, no class

    WC reported the score. Sherrill told his score keeper NOT TO CALL IT IN! He did not see the point in it. As for the comments by fence, it goes back to good habits and bad habits.

    and dont forget compassion, sportsmanship, and class, or have they no place in a high school game?
