It was probably more a matter that no one up at TC Roberson would send in Cam's stats. If you check again, you will see that Cam is back on the Impact list with his updated statistics.

......... but Impact is an easy target, isn't it!!!!!!!!!!!

Hard to list his stats when nobody sends 'em in. Grow up.

    Impact

.... right they are. They sell dreams to a bunch of kids and their parents for alot of money. They list the top players as if they are the state's best but are actually only the kids' that spent money with them. They do help the kids that play with them get exposure, but I wonder how many kids that signed would have done just as well without Impact.

WOW!!!! Why pound on Impact?? The Stats are back up there. If they are not turned in on time then they are not reported on time. I think Andy does a great job....and as far as his list of players goes...........it is just not his opinion. It is the opinions of the MLB scouts, College coaches and so on. Everybody is entitled to his/her opinion. As an example.....Sure there are some kids who could have made 1st team all impact instead of 2nd team or 3rd team...........but who do you knock off the 1st team????

As for the $$$ thing........It doesn't even deserve a response!!!!!! Lets keep it positive!!

Impact is good for High School Baseball in North Carolina. Thats the bottomline.

I know you are wrong. I personally know players who aren't ranked that have played with Impact. I also know players who are receiving a lot of attention from Impact who have never spent a dime with them.

My son has played/been affiliated with Impact for 2 years. Has gotten tons of exposure from Andy. We have never paid anything other than the standard fee everyone is charged. Andy gives our kids the chance to be seen and perform. Some perform well while others don't. I can tell you his showcases/teams have helped my son far more than anything else we've done.

Gotta be Cam Maybin ... He's a true 5-tool guy and that's very rare.

Though there has been a bit of chatter about him slipping a couple spots in the upcoming draft (like from #2 in the nation all the way down to #7 in the nation), that's not too shabby when you consider that there are about 122,000 HS seniors playing baseball, but all of the College Juniors, Seniors and JUCO guys to choose from.

    Kinda like a no-brainer.

I can tell you from our own past experience that $$$ has nothing to do with it. In my son's senior year Impact rated him 30th in the state and 4th amoung catchers. He never attended an Impact Showcase nor was he a member of any Impact Team.

The last stats I saw on Maybin was through 16 games. He is batting .681 with 10 HR and has 22 stolen bases. I would like to know how many times he has been walked and how many doubles he has this year. I got these stats from the Asheville Citizen-times.
