    Well I think it is great that any team could only give up 5 or 8 runs, that truly is amazing. Even tho CC gave up 8 & WF gave up 5 I think both teams deserve the recognition their truly blessed teams. Anyone who loves softball would kill to play for a team of their caliber. I dont think earned runs defines a better team, CC should not be disappointed or compare the team to WF, in life you wont always come out on top but that doesnt mean your a failure.

    I was just stating a fact in case anyone was interested i wasnt trying to compare or prove a point or anything. WF has a great team, McKenzie is the real deal

    Congrats to North Davidson on winning the conference tourney. :trophy: Look forward to North West IV, and glad to see a rumored plan to keep North out of the playoffs did not get a chance to be executed.

    Another great game. The "plan" was nothing but a rumor and something I'm sure would have never happened even if the opportunity would have been there. I can't believe anyone thought that idea was more than just something to laugh about. It would have never happened. That's just not WF's style.

    Not Davie's style either, but good for a laugh....Congrats to West with all their talented athletes and North Davidson...perhaps the best coached team in the State. Sorry Monte, You're a great coach too...but, Lambros gets my vote for Coach of the Year.

    Hmmmm....I don't think too much coaching needs to be done with ND. My vote for COY would go to JL Hayes at RJ Reynolds. :trophy: His team won 6 games this year and that in my opinion is a much greater achievement.

    if your are throwing out coach of the year opinions...... mine would have to go with kevin baity of west forsyth. great coach and person that runs a class act team.

    :agreed: Agreed 100%. Coach Baity is one of those who does not get the credit and respect he deserves. His teams have always been class acts as well as talented. I also give him credit for having the most respectful fans in the conference. Sure they pull for WF, but there is none of the spite and ugliness seen in some fans from another school in the conference. [​IMG]
