Got to go with North Meck

Gosh, you've got to pick them, they have 5 seniors, should be 6 signed to Division 1 schools and 2 great pitchers and some good ones who have thrown less than the top 2. They can't miss.

would have a difficult time going with north forsyth. johnson hasn't thrown in the past month or more. i think they are slightly above average with out johnson on the hill. great guys, swing it pretty good, but not enough pitching with out addison

There isn't an "unbeatable" team this year in any division or bracket.

Who's hot will probably decide it, but I lean towards the good gloves/good arms teams. The other trait you want to see is consistency. The most consistent team(s) this year has been Lumberton and Rose. They have the advantage.

A hot team with a bat can make a lot of noise for awhile.

    north forsyth

I think that you're right, without addison on the mound they are still above average...but I think they may play better without him on the mound these last few weeks. I think some of them are out to prove that the team is full of talent and that addison isn't the only one helping them win. I actually think they've already proved that with serber and mitchell doing great as starting pitchers, and even a few underclassmen. We'll just have to see what kinda heat they can bring.

This team is coming together now. Serber has thrown 3 complete game
shutouts in a row. DJ Mitchell is back on the mound with a complete game
2-hitter Wed. North has the best hitting team since Jamie Lowe took
over 3 years ago. ( They went to the final 4 two yrs ago). Update.....
look for Addison to make an impact during the states. His problems have
nothing to do with pitch count at Rose (by the way, they got homecooked
on that on, ask anyone in attendence) This is the toughest kid around, he is the type that will throw with pain and not tell a soul in order to win. These kids are ready to make a run, playing with Rose early in the year without Mitchell ready to go or Serber on top of his game the way he is now, told them they were ready!!Jamie Lowe has lost 6 Conference Games in the last 4 years, the West runs through North.

AJ has been out with elbow pain the last 6 weeks or so, rumor was
he may be looking at Tommy John, but think that has been ruled out.
Don't know when he will be back on the mound.

good luck to addison. he is a good kid and a great player. i was by no means knocking the rest of the vikings. they are a good TEAM, and one player doesn't make a team. i still think they are much better when he can pitch.

    East Predictions:
I need to study the brackets a little more, but, after Millbrook, JH Rose may have an easier 2nd round game. If they can get past Millbrook and have Bullock back for game #3, they will be tough to beat.

In the bottom half of the east ... gut feeling is Scotland County.

    West Predictions:
Top half: Too many losses by too many teams to make this anything but a wild guess.

Bottom half: Another hard one to pick ... Someone is going to have to step up an stop Central Cabarrus, cause they can hit with anyone. The third round matchup may be determined by who has to go extra innings. There are a lot of teams with thin pitching staffs.

I just can't pick the west at all this year.... to many questions out there.

    Look out for Chapel Hill!!

2 solid pitchers (martin and Robinson) can carry a staff, They hit extremely well, especially of late, play very solid in the field and are very aggressive on the basepaths. David Miller (Lee Sr/UNCW) has done a fine job building this program into a very solid one.

PLus a big 1-0 win over Wakefield hasn't hurt them either!!
