By the way, Region X D2 "Tourney" between LCC and Southeastern is this weekend at Mt. Olive College. LCC has been nationally ranked all season in the D2 Polls but they dropped 3 of 4 against Southeastern a couple weekends ago. It's a best of three coming up, with the winner moving on to St. Catharine, KY for some sort of "play-in" to see who advances to the Regionals down in the MS/AL/LA area.

    Wofpac??????

I probably should have sent this via PM, but there are a lot of people that know this young man. I just found out about Morgan Tyson. Can you tell us what happened? and an update? This has left me with a terrible feeling

Braves, he threw an outside changeup to Maikol Gonzalez who hit it right back at him and Morgan got hit in the mouth. He took a pretty good shot. Knocked some teeth out (including one piece of a tooth went into his tongue and the Doctor ended up pushing it out the other side - which the thought of a Doctor sticking a finger in my tongue and pushing a tooth out the other side is just disturbing to me). He has had a couple of surgeries but he is healing very well. Doctor's even believe they will be able to save his original teeth. He came home for about a week but he has decided to start staying with the team in Asheboro for the tournament. I am happiest because he has bounced back pretty well and is even doing some long toss and wanting to be back with his teammates. He is still in a lot of pain and is having problems eating but he won't let it keep him from supporting his teammates in Asheboro. If Louisburg wins the conference tourny, he probably won't be back for Regionals but if they win that, he could be back for Finals according to Doctors.

Thanks for asking. Keep him in your prayers and thoughts. He isn't quite done with surgeries yet but he is healing well and has remained positive throughout this experience.

Louisburg won 5-1. They will play tomorrow and the other team will have to beat them twice and Louisburg hasn't had to use too much of it's pitching. Marcus Covington gave a complete game performance today which is beautiful in a double elimination tourny.
