    Butler takes SWAAAA Tournament

    Ashton Ward pitched a one hit 14K gem against a tough Myres Park team.
    Butler won the conference championship by a score of 4 - 0

    My hats off to all the SWAAAA teams for 2005

    Good luck to the Providence Panthers, the Myers Park Mustangs
    and My beloved Bulldogs in the state Playoffs.

    Congratulations to Butler SW4A Champions. Sorry I missed the championship game. Will try to get to a state playoff game. Good to see you DawgFan Thursday. Keep us posted on the playoffs.

    Playoff Spot

    With Enka's win over Tuscola and Roberson getting past Franklin, the Lady Mountaineers and Lady Panthers will play Monday to determine the third and final playoff spot. Should be a good one. Any interested fan who knows the site, please log on. Here's hoping they play at North Buncombe before Enka and TCR square off. That would be a fun evening of softball. Congratulations Sugarjets and Lady Rams.

    The game is 5pm Monday at North Buncombe.....2 great games for the price of one!!

    Greene Central def. Southwest Edgecombe

    Saturday's Games
    North Lenoir 3 South Lenoir 0
    Greene Central 3 North Pitt 2 (this was Greene Centrals 4th game of the week)

    Championship Game had to be moved to Monday night 5/16 at North Lenoir.
