    If any of you are traveling up to South Caldwell tonight, the game will not be played at South instead it will be played at MS Deal Stadium.

    Thanks Bill..I wasn't able to make the game tonight. Believe it or not I was at the NM vs EM game...long story. But I saw a great one and it sounds like I missed a great one up in Hickory.

    Congratulations goes out to Matt Layman. This young man is proving to be a gamer. I am so proud of him to be able to go into a hostile environment and keep his poise. The kid pitched his heart out.

    Sorry I missed you 29er, but I'm sure will hook up during Legion games. You guys promised me a great seat and free hot dogs all night long!!! Congratulations goes out to South Caldwell on a great season. They are going to be even stronger next year.

    South Caldwell Fans

    The South Caldwell fans were very, very quite tonight! Not much heard out of the large crowd of South Caldwell fans that attended but...the small group of red & black decorated South Sabre fans with their shakers and noise makers were not afraid to be seen nor heard and were loud and very supportive of the Sabre baseball team throughout the entire game. South Meck got their team spirit going early in the game and stayed up the entire game which could not be seen nor heard from either the South Caldwell fans nor the South Caldwell bench. Great defensive game on the part of the South Meck Sabres with grrrrrrrrrrrrrreat pitching by Matt Layman for the win & Matt Andress for the save on the South Meck team.

    Look's like South Meck will be more than ready for East Meck @ South's Home field on Friday night! Gooooooooooooooooooo Sabres!

    P.S. Lots of Sabre alumni baseball support in the Sabre dugout out tonight as well. First time I've seen that many Sabre alumni baseball players come back for a Sabre play-off game!!!
