MS Deal Stadium in Granite Falls in by far the nicest field. Don't care what you say, the field looks like major league field even though stadium is old

I like Watauga's stadium, especially the additions made behind the centerfield fence. Coach Hardee and the crew do a marvelous job keeping it in tip-top shape.

I thought that the lighting @ MS Deal in the outfield was not so great. Seemed sort of dark out there at times. Would be a great field if they added a new lighting system.

MS Deal was an awesome looking surface, and the infield was about perfect. A few blems in short right outfield, but overall an A+ field. The lighting was a C at best. For day games that is a great venue, but they need to revamp the lights. Seating arrangement is good too if you knew to bring something to sit on. The existing concrete could bring even a standard set of hemi's to a head after 7 innings. Or if you were hyped up like me, just never sit down!!!!

BTW- Didnt they announce that App State is playing its first few home games there next year????

as i stated on the other thread. i would have to go with north davidson as one of the best overall places to play. rich park is nice but the playing surface is terrible. asheboro is a nice park. west forsyth has one of the bes playing surfaces around, the rest is lacking. reynolds field is improving every year. south west guilford has a nice yard.

    What a shame!

I heard that coach Hardee's hard work is going to rewarded by digging up his baseball field and using the space to add on to the school. What a waste.

when i played for the carolina hurricanes, we practiced at victory...and when coach eaton has his heart into that field, i think it's the nicest field in charlotte. def. one to go take a look at.
