West Forsyth wins in exciting fashion. With West trailing 6-4 in the bottom of the sixth West made it exciting. After West pushed one across and Aaron Bray replaced Robby Bray with the bases loaded, two outs, and full count on Greg Holt he hits the 3-2 pitch into the trees in left-center field. Great game by both teams and a tough hard fought loss for Indy. Both teams played hard and left everything on the field. Congrats to the TITANS!!!

    W - Chad Jarvis (Soph)
    L - Bray
    S - Dusty Snow

Stamper, Snow, and Holt hit homeruns for the Titans tonight.

Hickory won 5-3. Gibbs pitched a 6-hitter; gave up 1 earned run. TCR made several errors and HHS manufactured some runs. Hickory jumped on them early and they were rattled. Hickory meets NW Cabarrus on Thurs. Anyone know anything about them?

    Owen 13, West Henderson 1

Owen scored 11 unearned runs in the 3rd after West had comitted 3 errors to finish off West. Steven Hensley threw a one hitter to shut down West.

    For Owen:

BJ Perry, 1/3, grand slam HR
Justin Banks, 2/4, double, grand slam HR
    Aaron Wright, 2/2, 2 doubles

    For WH:
    Matthew Pruitt, 1/3, HR

WH finishes the year at 24-3 (7 returning starters)
    Owen is now 20-5.

WH now switches gears to the summer schedule. 8 games next week Thurs-Sat. Will play 50 from 6/2 thru 7-/17. Concluding with the National HS tournament in Louisville, KY July 12-17th. Then will take a 6 week break and conclude with a 26 game fall schedule in Sept and Oct. We are lucky for a 2A school in that we will only be missing one potential starter from next years team to a fall sport. All the others will be playing baseball. The future is good.
