They are going to wait until it is too late to get the right person for the job! They have had two really good candidates in and one turned them down and the other hasn't been offered the position to this day! Typical ACHS for you!

Coach Whittington has decided to further her career in an administrative position. (She'll be missed!)

Also, I'm sure deciding on a coach at AC or any school is a hard task! If there is not enough candidates or the right candidate they could always put in an interim if need be. Easy to pick coaches from the bleachers. :twocents:

Who are some viable candidates left for the position? From what I heard from somebody inside the school, Dave Elder wanted the job yet he was turned down. I hear that one of the Hickory Express AAU coaches wanted the position but don't know why this was turned down? Who else are they going to look at for the position? Is Bolick going to move up from the JV ranks? Looks like yet another messy situation for the AC girls basketball program.

Bolick was just convicted of a D.U.I level 5 offense. I seriously doubt they give it to him

Not sure what the "Level 5 offense" is for DUI but isn't he the softball coach and the JV coach or has that changed? I just assumed if he could coach those positions that he could coach varsity basketball. Thanks for the information.

Just stating the facts. You saw it last week's T-ville times! Not the first conviction. It was obvious the trickle down effect happened. With leadership like his, the programs will be without a strong positive role model. ACFan, you should be the first one to see the first hand effects........ Alexander Central deserves better. :trophy:
