i read the post from crazyhorsekhalil23 and i'm sorry he is upset with his parents, but it is very wrong that he is trying to punish them through baseball instead of owning up to the real reason. his anger has nothing to do with baseball, it is totally something else and his story is not exactly correct.
he really is a GREAT player but lets other things get his way. his parents are very supportive but he is a teenager and of course he is always right. this is personal matter, not a baseball matter and should be left as such.

In response to CrazyhorseKhalil23, I am sorry he is upset with his parents, but he hasn't been totally honest. The anger is not baseball related and he is only trying to punish his parents through baseball. The parents are supportive, but not perfect, they make mistakes too. His "account" of events is not truely accurate. He should keep baseball and his personal situation seperate.

Mom actually said--- stop putting your pants in your shoes, they won't come clean and it'll ruin those pants.

This is such a personal thread and my comments are not directed to this situation because I will never know the facts, but it is a great topic nonetheless. We have all witnessed similar or worse incidences in our lives, but rarely are the problems brought forth by the players.

Most damaged that is done to the son is caused during the ride home after a game. I don't know why any parent would want to jeopardize the relationship of the one person that they would be willing to die for. It just doesn't make sense to me because in the long term, your son will always remember how you treated him. Although your son will remember that you taught him how to play baseball and he will remember the sacrifices you made as a parent to play catch with him even though you are tired, he will remember you more for the way you taught him character and overcoming disappointments.

You have an obligation to be a positive influence on your child.....don't blow it.
