Coach for Central may have said that but I don't think he will just give up. I think he know alot and will do very well against them. If we loose it want be by much. I think the Central players will give there all. Oak Hill yes there very good but they can be beat. Any team can be beat. Look at the NBA Finals the Pistons beat the Spurs the other night in game 6. Everyone had them wrote off and they show people. So to say Central will loose by alot of points is not fare to say. Ish Smith is good I think he will have a good game. Will anyone give them credit. Hey Central Softball team lost in 2004 aganist Hilcrest down in South Carolina. So you see what I"m trying to say. Central's Basketball team is going to do good and good teams can be beat. For all you people who are knocking down Central just come to the game and will see. If Central looses then so be it but I don't think it will be by very much. So if you want to post reply to what I said here then know what your talking about before you do. Don't count out Central. Don't ever count out anybody.

How many NBA players has Central had?

I think if they take the right approach, CC can keep it close. I saw Oak Hill play this past season and they are talented at EVERY position and go about 10 deep with top level talent.

Good luck CC. Great opportunity for you all to strut your stuff. :ylsuper:

    NBA players = zero

Central has never had a player in the NBA. But, in recent years, they have put a few in college.

Lionell ???? (my mind is blank)- Queens
    David Hardy - UNCC
Joe Easley (played Fr and Soph at CC) - Pheiffer
    Nathan Cranford - Appalachian State
    Matt Parker - Presbyterian
    Anthony Harris - High Point
    Ish Smith - Wake Forest

    I consider that pretty good.

I dont think Cranford and Easley compare to the likes of Jeff McInnis, Carmello Anthony, Justin Gray, Jerry Stackhouse, Ron Mercer, and Josh Smith. Im sure i left out a few. I know cranford and joe but i dont think they will make the NBA.

    I agree

I hope I did not make it sound like these players for Central were/are NBA material. I was simply trying to point out the number of college players being produced by Central and Coach Brewer.

I will agree coach brewer gets the most out of his talent and definately has had alot of it as well. He is a great coach.

Ish Smith can play. Amazing handles, great speed. He's small compared to Nolan Smith, but is much quicker.

Beasley, however, is the truth and will blow it up.
