    (6/22) Pineville vs. McDowell

Interesting game!! Pineville was about as flat as interstate road-kill on a hot summer day!!! (Until the 5th inning). Pineville was down 5 - 2. Finally things started clicking....a little luck, a few passed balls, a couple walks, some timely hits and a standup 3B that plated 2 (lazer over CF!!) by Pineville 3B Hunter Glass moved Pineville ahead 7 -5.

Top of 7, McDowell begins a threat with a solo HR to make the score 7 - 6.

    Great game by both teams!!

    Pineville 7
    McDowell 6

Not sure of their record, but they play their legion B games at Mcdowell High School.

    Eastern Randolph 1, Mocksville 0

    Eastern Randolph 1, Mocksville 0

    WP: Issam 4 H, 3 BB, 5K
    LP: Kuell 5 H, 0 BB, 9K

    Mocksville Hitters:

Cameron Clinard (.515 Avg) 8 game Hitting streak
    Tom Kuell
    Ryan Hellard
    Josh Eder (.367 Avg)

Tom Kuell definately pitched well enough to win. Mocksville just didn't put the hits together to support Tom's strong pitching performance (9 Strike Outs!). Needless to say, Randolph's pitcher deserves praise for an excellent effort.

Mocksville visits Southwest Randolph on Friday

Tough game for Mocksville. They had many chances to win, just didnt come through with men on base.

Mocksville is 7-4 in the conference im pretty sure.
