    Players from the Carolinas included in the 2005 Louisville Slugger High School All-American team announced by Collegiate Baseball include:

    North Carolina:

    Cameron Maybin - TC Roberson
    Wilson Boyd - Hickory
    Timmy King - Piedmont

    South Carolina:

    Justin Smoak - Stratford
    Reese Havens - Bishop England

    The final team is broken down by position - pitchers, catchers, infielders, outfielders and multi-position. The preseason list, published in Feburary, was broken down by 1st, 2nd and 3rd team members. The web site will ultimately post the team members. Approximately 100 players made the team from accross the US and Puerto Rico. Three players from NC and 2 from SC, previously posted, made the list.
