    Heard he was one of the finalist for the Duke job

    I've heard UNC is losing more than coach's...

    Coach Hartsell from LCC is staying at the school but taking over as the Athletic Director.

    I talked to a Campbell signee who will be there in the fall and he said he hasn't heard anything of a new coach.

    Yeah, Campbell reinstated Chip Smith because the A.D. didn't go through the proper protocol when he was trying to fire Coach Smith. The president found out about it when he returned and promptly gave the job back to Coach Smith.

    Although you can't blame him (he's doubling his salary), the players are not real happy about this.

    ...and JM you are right, but it is expected. You recruit so many good players year in and year out, players are going to get frustrated with the lack of opportunities.

    I've heard it's not some of the guys not gettin the PT... one of the top P's on the team (and in the country) could be heading west to the Longhorns.

    I know of some of the players feelings about transferring (including some that start)...but we'll see what happens when school goes back in session. I'm curious how the reaction will be with Williams moving over to UGA. I know some are upset and some are glad.

    I doubt that you will see anybody going to Texas.....it could..but I doubt it.

    Wow, can't believe Wine would leave Southeastern. Must be tough to be a coach there as they seem to lose a lot of them. Good luck to him at LCC.

    I've heard Coach Gilmore's name come up in connection with Duke along with Coach Farr's name from W&M.

    Of course, the people I've heard it from having any more of an idea than I do ... just idle speculation.
