    I for one have always called them Henderson County because they don't play in Hendersonville. East Henderson and Blue Ridge Community College both are in East Flat Rock. Caldwell County Post 29 plays in Granite Falls, but the Legion Post 29 itself is in Lenoir.

    Clear as mud, right? :banginghe

    I wanted to add that Caldwell and Taylorsville kick off Friday as well. And the tarp is covering MS Deal right now so if unless something unforseen happens, we are ready for action at 7pm tomorrow night.

    Well..

    Henderson County is the post's actual name. I just get tired of typing "county" all the time.

    Shelby vs. Gaston Braves

    Shelby Post 82 defeated the Gaston Braves tonight 6-0 with a great performance by starting pitcher josh drewery. He went the distance allowing only 3 hits with 9 K's and no walks. He also added a 3 run homerun to put the game out of reach for the Braves (Gibson received the loss). Josh Izokovic and Dustin Garver had two hits a piece as well. Shelby leads the series 1-0 heading to South Point tomorrow night.

    I think the final was 4-3 Cherryville. They announced it at the Caldwell/Taylorsville game but I couldn't quite make out what he said.
