    Smash- what a great article. Thanks for sharing that with us. Those kind of stories makes one appreciate what they do have and not taking serious the normal whining and complaining of some players.

    There are a few names off the top of my head that are special kids. Young men that have overcome some very difficult circumstances to shine and be example setters for others:

    -Dustin Graves
    -Brandon Hill
    -Tate Bryant
    -Andrew Morton

    ...to name a few

    Nice story

    Boy what a great story. I watched several Burns / Hickory games in the last few years and never knew that Dustin played with this illness. I always was impressed with the way the Burns guys played the game. This gives me a new appreciation for Dustin and his performance on the field. Good luck to Dustin in the future.

    Nice article.......the kid obviously has a lot of heart and loves the game. He also obviously loves being part of a special program. Looks like former and current players have a nice bond that goes beyond just showing up at the games.....
