    i just rolled in from the beach and the first thing i wanted to find out was how post 8 did in the tournament, heck i did'nt know a thing about any of the games since last friday got rained out. but a few minutes reading this thread and i'm up to date on everything. way to go Lexington and area III, this was a good year for legion baseball in the central piedmont of NC. see yall later!

    QUESTION ? NOW THAT THE STATE LEGION SEASON IS OVER CAN PLAYERS FROM ALL OF THE TEAMS ATTEND CAMPS OR SHOWCASES WITHOUT PENALTY?

    Yes.

    The only dark period that you cannot participate in showcases or camps or anything of the sort is after the playoffs start (around July 1) until your team is eliminated.

    THANK YOU FOR THE CLARIFICATION. NOW FOR THE BIG QUESTION, WHEN DOES PITT COUNTY ADVANCE TO THE SE REGIONALS. WOULD THIS TEAM STILL BE ACTIVE(FOR THE RULES) IF SO SS AT IMPACT ALL WEEK END(IMPACT WEBSITE):banned:

    You certain about that?? If he played at the showcase, the kid is ineligible. Regional starts Thursday.

    NOT PERSONALLY, JUST CHECK IMPACT WEBSITE FOR RUN DOWN OF EVENTS. VOTED ON ALL IMPACT TEAM FOR THE EVENT AND 60 TIMES ARE GIVEN.

    I'm not certain, but I think the prohibition against Showcase baseball is a State of North Carolina thing. If so, Pitt is in the Regionals now & under National rules.

    Am I correct?? (I sure hope so).

    The rule is an American Legion rule over the nation, im pretty sure. Not just in North Carolina, but i knw for a fact he was there because our third baseman was there and he said he saw him. I have no problem if he was or not.Even if he was declared inelgible, pitt county will still win because we played alot of baseball against the teams that will be in the SE regionals and they should have no problem in winning that and nationals.
