    Both these guys are top-notch ballplayers!
    Congratulations to both of these guys!
    UNC looks to be putting together a very strong 06/07 class!

    Going to be young for a while (current roster has 31 players, 1 SR and 7 JR). Any idea on how many out of state recruits to go along with the 6 or 7 in state guys?

    UNC recruits

    I have heard of two from out of state. Both are pitchers. One is from Chicago and I'm not sure where the other one is from. It seems interesting with only one Senior to have so many recruits. I realize there will be a few juniors getting drafted but their commitments are closing in on double digits.

    Another site lists Rob Catapano, LHP , Farragut HS, Knoxville,Tn. and Matt Petiton, LHP, Garden City, NY.

    Rob returns to North Carolina. He played many years ago for the South Park rec league . He is a strong competitor who loves the game. A left hander who has poise and knows how to pitch. UNC has bagged a good one.
