Who are the top players in the Triad area? Mainly Winston-Salem. Who are the top players to watch for? Any surprises?

North Davidson is the south end of Winston Salem & play in the CPC with West Forsyth, Reynolds & Mt Tabor, so I think we qualify.

ND class of 06--Andrew Hunt Lefty pitcher who was the CPC 4A player of the year. Andrew was the #2 on Lexington's Legion state runner-up team this summer. He did all of this with a totally torn ACL in his left knee!! Had surgery late this summer & is already throwing. I can't wait to see what's next...

ND class of 06--Eric Roach Catcher who broke his hand mid-season last spring. Great glove...He's about a 2.0 turn-around to second, but he bangs the bag everytime. Eric was having a monster spring at the plate when he got hurt. Good foot speed too.

ND class of 08--Zach White Rising sophomore lefty who was North's #2 & Lexington Legion's #3. Ask Pitt County Legion about Zach's ball movement. Throws in mid 80's & hit 87 on 2 guns in August (legit). Bulldog competitor with huge upside.

ND class of 08--Ben Redmond Rising sophomore who was elevated to starter this past spring & summer (Legion) when Eric Roach broke his hand. He'll have to return to backup catcher this year & play right field. Tough kid with solid bat. Very fundamental behind the plate. He hasn't come close to finishing his growth spurt.

I predict that Addison Johnson & Greg Holt get paid to play someday. 2 of the most impressive talents I've seen in our area the past decade.

    braves,
we still have alot of work to do to get where we need to be. young talent is nice but you have to work hard to get ahead of your opponents. the cpc should be very tough this year. mt tabor and east rowan are going to make the competition stiffer. north davidson will be strong after a great legion season, davie is older and more experienced, south rowan is always tough, and reynolds is reynolds. they seem to have our number. guess we will work and see what happens
