Just my opinion, but with the way WCU's baseball program is run, I don't think I could feel good about promoting a camp by them.

How so? Don't they have a new coach? I've never heard anything about them - good or bad. As a matter of fact, didn't know they existed. :deal:

Without going into specific details, I'll just tell you to check around and ask in the baseball community. The coaching staff isn't thought of now as highly as they were before they took over the WCU program because of some of the things they've done. Just ask around and you'll get opinions. Mine is not a good one of WCU baseball.

As a side note, it looks like Brock Thornburg has transferred to WCU, listed on the 2006 roster.

I have heard some of the rumors and I think Score has been discrete and professional in wording his posts. Reputation is important for programs just as it is for players and it takes a long time to repair a damaged one. As we all know, fall outs happen at every level and at more than one or two programs and sometimes they are necessary to correct a bad situation. I'm sure they are looking to put that in their past and keep building. They have definitely shown well on the field recently and early predictions are that they should have a special team this season.

It was not my intention to "open a can of worms".....just to offer information.

BUT....I will say this....anybody that thinks there is a college program out there that doesn't have or hasn't had it's own "can of worms".....you're only fooling yourself. It happens in the best programs.

That would depend on whether you're a Catamount supporter or not.
