    I guess me an observer were typing at the same time! The good news is we both share good news, or at least news that is better than the scary prospect of surgery.

    THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE UPDATE ON WATAUGA #57. WE HAD TALKED TO THE FATHER OF THIS KID IN THE WAITING ROOM AT BAPTIST ABOUT AN HOUR AGO AND AT THAT TIME HE WAS UNCONSCIOUS AND ON A VENTILATOR WITH A BLOOD CLOT TO THE BRAIN. THEY WERE OPTIMISTIC THOUGH THAT HE WOULD BE ALRIGHT AND NOT NEED SURGERY. SOUNDS GREAT AT THIS POINT. PRAYERS ANSWERED. SOUTH CALDWELL FANS WILL BE VERY RELIEVED AS WELL AS THIS KID'S FAMILY AND THE WATAUGA COMMUNITY.

    i`m very sorry to hear of the young man from whs that got hurt. i hope and pray that he can recover fully and get back with his "" brothers "" on the sideline!! i bet the guys from boone will be pumped up for this weeks game!!!!good luck to # 58 and his family from the family of achs!!!!

    just a little note from the ac-mcdowell game, the running back from mcdowell is good, but he did most of his damage when ac put in the back up guys. not to take anything away from him ,boy can he move,, but justin bowles was running around , over and by the defence at will. he was over 100 yards by the half. alot of late hits on the ac guys also, and c.j shook(kick off guy) had 2 guys waiting on him on every kickoff!! should be 1 more great game next week up in ashville!!! go cougars!!!

    thanks fireball!!! i knew had was over 100, but almost 200 at half wow!!!! he could have had 300 if he had played the whole game! a few of us noticed that when he was back on kick offs, the mcdowell guys were just tring to arm tackle him . bowels is so quick and makes you miss amd if you do try to hit him, look out the kid is running over you!!! congrats to coach deal and all the cougars!!!! keep up the hard work !!
