    All,

Got an update this morning on Will - He had a good turn around and has been talking and responding to questions. He will spend a few more days in ICU before moving to a private room. This is great news and an answer to many prayers for the young man.

If you would like to post a get well message on this thread, I will make sure he gets them. Thanks for all your prayers and as a Watauga Coach I have a lot of new and deserved respect for the South Caldwell players and fans who were genuinely concerned about Will :trophy: . Thank you for your thoughts and Prayers. It is just a game, isnt it!

The South Caldwell fans, players, and coaches have had Will in our prayers and he was probably on every prayer list in Caldwell County Sunday morning. A couple of SC coaches went to the hospital Saturday to visit and Sunday a few SC players visited the hospital. Could not visit with Will though because he was in intensive care, but they spoke with Will's parents. We did hear he was talking today(Monday) and sitting up. He doesn't remember anything since the game Friday night. I know the SC player that hit Will plans to meet Will when he is well enough. It is just a game and an injury like this puts everything in perspective. Go Watauga, beat Freedom!

Although we're rivals on the field, more importantly we're family when it comes to our conference. I speak for all the players, coaches, and fans from McDowell High School in wishing you a speedy recovery and look forwards to facing the Pioneers in two weeks.

Courage is FEAR, that said it's PRAYERS.
    Get Well Soon, Will

Will, AC Reynolds and ALL the NW4A wish you nothing but the best and are praying for your recovery. Hope to see you on the sidelines in a few weeks when we make our way up to Watauga for our game. Get well and God bless.

    UPDATE

Will was admiitted to his own room today and might get the chance to come home in a day or two. They want to put him through some rehab just to make sure everything is alright. He is really doing much better and his parents are in high spirits knowing how far he has come in the last week.

THanks for your caring words and your prayers
