    Rockets move to (3-1, 6-2). The Rockets piled up 326 yards rushing and 107 yards passing, while limiting the Pioneers to just 46 rushing and 134 passing for the game. The Rockets were led by Stuart Peterson who had 158 yards, and 2 TD's, on just 10 carries. Alexander Wall was 5-11 for 107 yards and 2 TD's, and Shawn Tressler had 4 receptions for 85 yards and 1 TD. Nice game for the Rockets overall.

    Ragsdale had two TDs called back. Loked good on both sides of the ball tonight - even with their best skill player out with an injury.

    Mooresville got off to a slow start having to play its second game in 4 days and this one was tied at 14 with seconds remaining in the third quarter. But the Blue Devils got some help as the Wildcats turned the ball over twice and Mooresville tacked on a pair of touchdowns to ice the game late adding to a 22-14 lead. Mooresville turned the ball over as well in the first half, muffing two punts and handing the Wildcats a 7-0 lead. Lake Norman has a really good JV QB who can pass with accuracy and move around in and out of the pocket. It was quite a task for our JV defenders who rarely see a passing attack like this. Mooresville JV's are now 7-1 on the season having lost to Davie Co. to open the season and running the table since then.

    Ledford 25 Lexington 14

    We went into Lexington N.C. tonight. Both teams entered the game with unbeaten records. We started out with Brandon Cabell run from about ten yards out! We missed the extra point and the first quarter ended with Ledford up 6-0. They countered that score with a 38 yard run and tied the score 6-6. Then Nathan Teague ran in from 51 yards out and again we missed our extra point. Ledford 12 Lexington 6. We came out in the third quarter and Nathan Teague scored from a couple yards out again and once again we missed the extra point and are up 18-6. The fourth quarter was well under way and we added an insurance score with Brandon Cabell running another score in and this time we made the extra point and were up 25-6. Lexington scored later in the quarter against our second string defense to tally the score at 25-14. And that is where the ball game finished. The Panthers are now 8-0 on the season.

    i don't have a final score but EB was leading McDowell in the 4th by 41-14
