    Mooresville led 32-13 in the fourth quarter before the second string came in and this one almost got away from them. Mooresville gets a bye next week before facing N. Iredell and NW Cabarrus to end the regular season.

    For those who didn't see the game, that was a wild ending. On 4th down with less than one minute to go, Izzy Swepson throws a 21 yard touchdown pass to Davon Gardner in the back corner of the endzone. McDowell fans going crazy... :ylsuper:

    Then on the extra point, the McDowell kicker Sammy Mahovic (sp?) a kicker who has missed only two extra points all season long, knocks it off the right upright and falls to the ground. East Burke takes a knee after a missed on-side kick attempt by McDowell.

    He (Sami Mehovic) actually kicked his helmet farther than the ball once he got to the sidelines, but he's a Mehovic, he'll rebound (gotta hate it for him though...). I remember Sami's cousin Vinny, he was like a Dan Morgan....A very tough linebacker.

    I drove back 3.5 hours from Knoxville (death in my family) to catch the last 3:00 of the game, what a finish.

    second defensive domination of the week by Ragsdale. Shutting out and shutting down another top running back in Randleman's McNair who had nothing tonight. Randleman maybe had 100 yards offense and maybe 3-4 first downs.

    Ragsdale left alot of points on the field too. Missing a FG, fumbling once inside the 20, on the 1 yard line as time ran out.

    Ragsdale is really spreading the ball all over the field. 3 running backs combined for over 220 yards rushing - don't have exact stats but a relative new comer Derek Waden had 87 yards and 2 TDs. Cameron Booker had about 75 and a TD and CJ Brinson had about 60 yards. QB Trevor Mullins was 10-14 for 124 yards. (maybe more - I missed most of the first drive of the game) 5 players caught passes led by Anthony Caldwell 4 for 42 and Jarvis Siler 3 for 56.

    Tyler Rankin and Mario Washington each had an interception. But the story was the defense - they toyed with Randleman all night. Next week they'll do the same but much worse at SW Randolph. Might finally see Ragsdale put some big points on the board. Ragsdale 6-2 and in second place in the conference.
