    according to their web site, it has been postponed. No makeup date was given.

    The official web site and the information we have received says it is postponed, but given what information we have gathered, I can't see any way that this tournament is played this year. The amount of problems, including damage to the power, water, sewer systems and others such as major structural damage, appear to be quite significant in the area. Postponing to another time would create a logistical nightmare for the teams involved as there are other tournaments already scheduled not to mention the travel arrangements that would have to be made. Unfortunately, my guess that the next time we're in Plantation will be next summer....but never doubt Patti....if there is a way to play this tournament and maintain its high level reputation, she'll get it done.

    Well put! This tourney was important to the 2006 unsigned ladies! Sure wish it could have happened. Well have to look elsewhere

    New Update on Rising Stars

    Just got e-mail from Fla. Rising Stars will be played the first weekend in Jan.
    I think it was the 4-6 or something like that.

    The correct dates for the tourney are Jan 6,7,& 8th in Plantation,Fl
    This is the same weekend as the Ringor Showcase up in Ohio.(indoor)
