Im not a sore loser. I was at the game and we just didnt have the defense that we had against East Burke. Freedom did what they had to do to win and they did it, while McDowell couldnt get it across the goal line. Congrats to them and hope they kick some EB butt next week at Fat Friday XXXII.

    Mooresville 7

Both defenses played well surrendering only one touchdown apiece. Mooresville fumbled deep in their own territory after stopping NI on fourth down and the Raiders gained the momentum by scoring to make the score 10-7 at the half. Mooresville special teams gave up the remaining points on a bad punt snap that was booted outta the end zone and then a touchdown return on the ensuing kickoff. NI has a good run defense and has earned their playoff berth going 9-2 on the season. Good luck to the Raiders and coach Linville in the post season.

watauga pulls the major upset 22-21 from a missed extra point attempt in overtime. watauga came to play tonight and i think alexander just got cold or something cuz they didn't bring it like they should have. refs or no refs the game shouldn't have been close, props to the pioneers though.

    WHS 22, AC 21

    Details...????

This makes WHS playoff eligible, I believe they finish 3-8, 1-6, so obviously playoff eligible ain't what it used to be, but, despite the record, WHS has shown a lot of improvement this year.
