    Taylor Commits to Montreat

    [​IMG] Caroline Taylor Headed to Montreat

    Caroline Taylor from T.C. Roberson in Asheville has committed to Montreat College and Head Coach Crystal Lingerfelt. A two-time, All-WNC and three-time All-MAC shortstop for Head Coach Laura Case Beatty, Caroline chose Montreat after considering several offers from DII and NAIA programs. She has played travel ball for Roy Buie (Young Guns), Brian Shetley (Southern Explosion), this past summer for Upstate coach Chris Hawkins (Carolina Pride) and Todd Jenkins (Carolina Crushers) during fall ball. Caroline is the daughter of Gene and Lisa McCurry of Arden. Congratulations to Caroline, her parents, high school and travel ball coaches, teammates and supporters for helping her to reach her dream of playing college softball. And, today is her birthday!

    Congrats Jessi, you are a wonderful young lady and ballplayer and you will do well there at Gardner-Webb. It seems that GW is getting a lot of Mint Hill girls; great to see that.

    Congrats Caroline, I know you had several options on the table but you chose the one that you feel fits you best. Make sure you get your schedule to me so I can come watch.
