whitley is solid & best player on her AAU team but definitely not top shelf. At that age the Express had Kelly Harrow (soph.), the Angels had K. Gillespie (soph), Jammers had Taylor Deal (soph) and Ali Ford (fresh) who most parents felt was best player they see play week to week, the lake norman team has the Big Allgood post player... but Whitley should have good HS career. Have you seen these others play?

I have seen all the girls mentioned play. Harrow is excellent, Deal has gotten a step slow, Ford is excellent also, but will probably be to small to play D1. Culler needs to improve outside shooting, she has grown when I seen her play this fall probably 5'10" which is good for a point guard. I see her playing small D1.

    K. Gillespie is a freshman at Statesville and Allgood is a soph at N. Meck unless she has transferred. Gillespie is probably better than Ford at this point after watching them play head to head this summer and Allgood has a tremendous upside! Culler will also develop into one of the top notch players in the state by her senior year!

Gillespie is the most athletic of those being discussed, but not the best basketball player, ... spoke with a hoops and dreams recruiter who put Ford as the best player at her position (pg) in freshman class. They like Harrow but she doesn't attend many of those events, Hickory is pretty strong she has plenty of help there.. Deal was all-region last year in 2-A (according to website) . What HS is Culler? I know she has played for several AAU teams in the surry area, even though I think she's behind these others she'll improve cause she seems to be a hard worker.
