Deuces: Patrick is a solid kid who can throw strikes. I hope he gets a chance to pitch at North this year. Last year they had no less than 7 pitchers but only two got to throw. Good luck to North this year!

    Bio

Good Kid. 5-10" Lefty, FB 80-85. Good breaking ball 3/4 slot.
Patrick pitched well this summer and fall for the Fungo Red Sox 18U.
He had several outstanding performances this fall at the Impact showcase(s) in Raliegh, and Winston Salem defeating some very good teams. Solid performer.
He did not get much time on the mound last year, as North had too many arms- not enough innings.
I anticipate Patrick to be #1 or #2 starter for North this spring, platooning with:
Brandon Whitt, Zack Pou, Eric Shoemaker, & Blake Ewart.

Patrick has good stuff. Throws high 70's to low 80's. Good curve ball. He needs to work on confidence. Hopefully he'll get mound time this year. North needs a lefty in lineup. What will that lineup be??????? Highntight called it. Only two pitchers with regular mound time last year and they have moved on.

    South Granville Seniors

We have only one Senior this year. That is very unusual I know. We are really young with most of talent in the Soph class with a couple of very good Jr's.

Sr Mike Robbins RHP OF. Mike is 5'11 165 with a legit 6.9 sixty time. He is very athletic. Mike pitches in the low 80's with outstanding controll of three pitches. He is an outstanding student. Mike will be one of our starters this year on the hill along with Chris Luck 07 Jon Lynch 07 and Pratt Maynard 08. He is an outstanding young man that loves the game. Mike is a legit D-2 high level D-3 prospect. He played some showcase this year with Stretchlon Stars and did very well. I see him as a pitcher first at the next level but with some work at the plate he could develop into a posistion player with his outstanding speed and read on the ball from the outfield. He has a great work ethic and is a very coachable player.

As far as Coach Evans two sr's he mentioned Moore and Byrd they are indeed D-1 level players. Moore is outstanding on the hill with great controll of all his pitches and is a bulldog on the hill. He can play the field as well. Byrd is a physical specimen and can flat out play. He pitched a gem against us last year at our place. He was the only guy that shut us down last year. And we faced some really good pitchers during the course of the season.

Matt Bjorkstrom from Butler High is a VERY talented lefty. 6-1 ,190; can really bring it in the mid to upper 80's with a nasty slider. Not sure if he's signed with anywhere but this kid is something special! Good starter or great closer.
Harrison Helms, another Butler senior is available. 6-2, 185 lefty. Good 2 seam fastball with LOTS of run and a great change-up, working on a already good curveball. Could be a starter or middle reliever in college. Look for great thingsfrom both these kids this year.
